A Home Week and a Club reservation are different
HGV's published Club rules distinguish an owner's Home Week from other Club reservations for commercial-use purposes. Review your current documents before considering paid rental activity. A stay at your home resort is not necessarily a qualifying Home Week reservation.
Guest certificates do not create rental permission
Guest certificates allow eligible reservations to be registered for a guest, but they do not remove commercial-use restrictions. Points Managers reviews reservation type and applicable permissions before treating any stay as eligible for paid rental marketing.

We assess personal travel goals, the points or week available, deadlines, reservation options, account standing, and whether management or rental support is permitted. Our agreement must fit the ownership and activity actually authorized; not every Hilton reservation is eligible.
Keep personal travel and deadlines visible
Share the vacations you intend to take and important expiration or reservation dates. Saved points, borrowed points, and reservation changes can have different conditions. The team checks the applicable rules rather than promising a particular banking or conversion outcome.
If a stay is eligible for management
For permitted enrolled inventory, the team coordinates the agreed reservation, guest communication, required registration, payment activity, and owner reporting. Rental timing and proceeds remain dependent on availability, demand, and the written agreement.
Questions from Hilton Grand Vacations owners
Can any reservation booked with ClubPoints be rented?
No blanket rental permission should be assumed. Club reservations and qualifying Home Week reservations are treated differently under HGV's published rules. The current rules for your ownership control.
Does a guest certificate make a reservation rent-eligible?
No. Guest registration and permission for paid rental use are separate questions. Both need to be checked.
Are Hilton Honors points part of the service?
