Make a separate inventory line for each account
Write down the ownership program, approximate points or week, use year, and expiration date. Keep balances from different years separate. Record existing reservations and their change or cancellation deadlines. A simple worksheet with columns for program, balance, use year, expiration, personal-use allocation, and existing reservations is enough for the first conversation.
Decide what you want to keep
List the family trips you want to protect, including dates, destination flexibility, unit size, and points already committed. Then identify the inventory you may not use. Share the reason you want assistance: less administrative work, a change in travel plans, or help evaluating unused inventory. The review begins with your priorities rather than an assumed rental target.
Ask how the service and calculation work
Ask who handles reservations, guest communications, payment collection, and reporting for your ownership. Review the fee basis, owner share, annual fees, authorized expenses, and cancellation treatment. Ask for an explanation that connects a reservation to the proceeds calculation. The published management terms and signed agreement should be part of your decision before enrollment.
Leave the conversation with an agreed next step
Confirm which inventory can be reviewed, which rules still need verification, what documents are needed, and who will follow up. An inquiry alone does not authorize account access or allocate points. Use the initial form for contact details and general ownership information; the team will explain any later document or access process separately.
Your quick checklist
- Approximate balances and use years for each account
- Expiration dates and existing reservation deadlines
- Personal trips and inventory to keep
- Questions about fees, responsibilities, reporting, and payout timing
This guide is general information. Your ownership documents, club rules, reservation terms, and signed management agreement control the available options. Rentals and owner proceeds are not guaranteed.
